Homebush Boys High School, 2013, Year 12 students have achieved amazing results in the HSC.  They have been placed amongst the best in the state.  Nayan Bhathela producedan impressive ATAR score of 98.8, AAA recognition and is studying a Bachelor of Combined Law/Computer Science – UNSW.  Universities have recognised our students’ achievements, granting them entry into individual courses that have ATAR requirements of 99.5 and over.  To our delight, over 90% of our students have received university placements. Highlights have included our early university entry achievers, Mitchell Boyd and Sergei Houhlias and individual students ranked in the top 10 for individual subjects.

HBHS Year 7 2014 went to camp from the 12 – 14 February 2014. From the 5:30am wake up to the 5:00pm finish the Year 7 camp was an action packed adventure to all year 7’s.

We kicked off the camp with an early wake up. We arrived, at HBHS putting our luggage into the trailer and said our goodbye’s to our weeping mum’s and grateful fathers. After, a very dull and uneventful speech it was finally time to leave… or was it? For tribe’s 1, 9 and probably a few others it took what felt like an age to finally hear the sound of the bus engine. Driving down the wet and wavy roads every bus watched a couple of movies such as Despicable Me, Dodge ball and others.
