The annual CAPA night was held on a wet and chilly Thursday night this term. The evening started with an exhibition of the Yr12 Visual Arts students’ Body of Work that showcased the many talented students we have at our school. A big turnout of parents, friends and teachers viewed the artworks, and commented on the high standard and quality of the Body of Work produced by the students. The second part of the evening involved the Yr12 Music students performing their solo musical pieces that they will be doing for their HSC practical exams and again that brought enthusiastic applause from an appreciative audience. Once again the night proved to be a roaring success that highlights the many creative Yr12 CAPA students within our school. We wish the students every success with their upcoming HSC exams in term 4.

Our students have started 2014 with enthusiasm and dedication.

They have been involved in many interesting programs already including Public Speaking, the National day against bullying campaign, Study Skills, Band Camp, and are continuing their indoor soccer fundraiser.

There are many exciting opportunities coming up in 2014 which we have planned. We look forward to the peer mentoring opportunities that the YWCA and DEC have offered, to develop strong leadership roles within the year.
