Today the Homebush Boys High School Interact Club received from Peter Smith their own banner. They proudly showed the banner off with DP Kamie Khurshed. Peter Smith is a member of Strathfield Rotary Club and Peter is a valued mentor for the boys.

The Interact Club is supporting Pink Ribbon Day on Friday 31 Oct when they will host a barbecue with all funds raised going to the Pink Ribbon Charity for women's health.

Last Wednesday evening (22ND October), many of our year 10 and 11 students attended a road safety forum at Phil Gilbert Hyundai in Lidcombe. The evening was presented by Ian and Suzy Luff, along with their business partner Stewart Nicholls.

Ian and Stewart are both renowned road safety expert commentators and their expertise have been used to form many road safety campaigns.

Trivia Night 1Our annual Homebush Boys High School trivia night on Saturday, September 6, at Concord Bowling Club, was another great success. 

This major FUNdraiser was attended by old boys, friends, teachers, and parents of students currently at our school.

The school's executive team again demonstrated their excellent public relations skills. Our own “Jedi Jurd” and daughter “Princess Caitlin” guided and emceed the night’s activities. 

What a variety of talent, enthusiasm and energy penetrated throughout the night! The wonderfully talented band, Silverhair, created a musical trivia environment with songs that drew in the crowd and had people swaying on their seats.
