The third ceremony for 2013 was officiated by the General Manager of Strathfield Council Mr David Backhouse and guests included Federal MP for Watson The Hon Mr Tony Burke and Federal MP for Reid The Hon Mr John Murphy together wirth State MP for Strathfield Mr Charles Casuscelli. Tonight was an especially significant evening with the highly anticipated Federal elections just a few days away.

The supper supplied by the parents of the school was absolutely outstanding, with everything on offer from a homemade cake decorated with fresh flowers, raspberry and choc chip muffins to chocolate and almond slice, bread and butter mini puddings, banana cakes, sandwiches, greek crescent biscuits and spicy savouries just to mention a few. We also received a generous donation of money from parents of which we spent on other food items to compliment what was already received. Everything was eaten and truly appreciated by the new Citizens to our community. Thank you once again for your support parents of Homebush Boys.

Thank you to the three prefects who assisted on the night, namely Charlie Brian (who makes his second appearance this year!), Alexei Feofiloff and Andrew Chen. You did a marvellous job helping to make the running of the event so smooth and easy. And many thanks to Ms Horiatopoulos who we say a very big thank you to for your time in supervising the boys at this event.
