The community of Homebush Boys sends our best wishes to Phillip Hughes and his family. The picture at right shows Phillip at cricket with fellow Bushie boy Shariful Islam as they wait to bat. Phillip played 26 tests for Australia and currently he is in St Vincent's hospital after being injured playing for South Australia against NSW at the SCG. Phillip graduated from Homebush in 2006.

Examining the knowledge, attitudes and perceptions of parents/guardians towards the 2014 NSW Measles High-school Catch-up Program Research Team

Invitation to Parents of Year 12 students 2014 HSC
You are invited to take part in a research project which aims to improve our understanding of the attitudes of parents/guardians towards school based vaccination programs in NSW. This study involves completing a 10-15 minute online survey which is completely anonymous. We are very interested to find out your thoughts on immunisation services in the school program.

Manfred SchaeferWhite Ribbon Oath: never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.

White Ribbon Day is a significant event at Homebush Boys High School and within the community.  Homebush Boys High School, this year, is supported by the highly inspirational and talented soccer player, Mr Manfred Schaefer.  Manfred Schaefer was part of the 1974 Australian World Cup Soccer Team.  He has kindly taken out the time to support White Ribbon Day initiatives at our school.  He has signed soccer items such as Adidas balls and caps.  These will be raffled off alongside Sydney FC and WSW items.  All proceeds will be donated to the White Ribbon organisation.
