Recently James Yates took part in the Worlds U17 Beach Handball World Championships in Mauritius and the U21 Men's Indoor Trophy Championships in Mauritius.

At the U17 Worlds Beach Handball Championships in Mauritius their result was tenth out of sixteen nations represented.

The U21 Indoor Trophy Championships took place in the Cook Islands Rarotonga. Their result was third place.

There will be a Year 8 information evening regarding the elective subject selection process for the students going from year 8 into year 9 in 2018.

The evening will cover the process undergone for the transition of the students into year 9 and the NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) requirements. The information given will be more about the subject selection process, rather than about specific subjects.

Where: Homebush Boys High School hall
When: Thursday 24th of August
Time: 6.00pm start

A subject information booklet will also be handed out on the night to help in this decision.

This meeting is for parents. However, students are most welcome to attend. The information will be repeated for year 8 within the following weeks during their classes.

Baki Redzeposki won a silver medal at the Judo National Championships in Queensland recently. Baki trained 6 days a week for 6 weeks before this event. He now ranks number 1 in the young men's u/81 kilo division. Baki was invited to compete in 3 European cup titles in July which is held in Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Germany.
