The past few weeks have seen Sydney North trials in Touch Football, Rugby Union and Rugby League as well as CHS Rugby Union happening all over Sydney. Homebush Boys had representatives at all trials with the boys making their own way there and representing our school with pride. In the Under 15’s Sydney North Touch Football Joseph Teaupa was selected to represent Sydney North. After not making it last year it is a great achievement to see this talented footballer make it at the age of 14 with another year still to go in this age division.

At the Sydney North Opens Rugby Union Trials we had Cooper Vati of Year 11 attend the trial and was selected for the team. Next we had six representatives of Homebush Boys attend the CHS under 16’s Rugby Union trials, this is a tough trial with boys skipping regional level and trialling for state. Ibrahim Elcheikh was honoured with being selected and is now invited to attend the next level of trials for selection into the CHS team. Finally there was the Boys under 15’s Rugby League where Ibrahim Elcheikh again, a very talented footballer was selected. All Homebush representatives are to be congratulated for attending the trials and giving their all to represent our school. To those who were selected congratulations.
