Year 11 and 12 students have been issued with the following letter to clarify our School policy regarding Student Travel to Sport.

The Homebush Boys High School Sports Policy 2017 clearly states that “walking/public transport/organised school bus are the ONLY forms of transport to and from sport. Students are NOT to drive and/or be a passenger in their private vehicle or someone else’s vehicle when travelling to and from sport”.

Student behaviour and travel to sport is also addressed in the School’s Safety. Learning and Respect framework and in our 2017 Bushy Boys behaviours.

Additionally, our student insurance policy does not cover student drivers and their passengers for travel to and from sporting venues in private vehicles.

If you or your son have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Paleothodoros (Rel Principal), Mrs Shadwick (Rel Deputy Principal) or Mr Carrozza (Sports Coordinator) on 97643611.
