Symphonia Jubilate Calendar 2016Symphonia Jubilate is a collection of ensembles made up of students predominantly from primary and secondary schools in the Strathfield education area. Founded in 2013 by Tracy Burjan and Luke Wallace, the orchestra aims to provide students with an opportunity to rehearse, learn and perform quality orchestral music from a diverse range of musical styles, as well as to foster a new level of music appreciation and skill in a friendly environment.

The three Symphonia Jubilate Orchestras, Pizzicato, Secondo and Primo enable students of all abilities to have a place in an Orchestra.

  • SJ Pizzicato - Level: Beginner to Grade 2 (Primary String players only)
  • SJ Secondo - Level: Grade 2-4 (Primary Orchestral players)
  • SJ Primo - Level: Grade 4+ (Secondary Orchestral players)

The newest group to join the Symphonia Orchestra is the Symphonia Jubilate Pizzicato Orchestra which is making its debut in 2016. This orchestra is the perfect place for beginner string students to test out their new skills, learn how to make music with others and most importantly have as much fun as possible in the process. The Pizzicato Orchestra will be conducted by the experienced teacher and conductor Mrs Jemma Losada.

Rehearsals and Concerts held at Marie Bashir Public School in Strathfield and are on a Saturday afternoon. Below are the dates of Rehearsals and Concerts for 2016.
