The annual Year 12 CAPA night was again a very successful event that highlights the many talented students within the creative arts at Homebush BHS. Parents, friends, staff and teaching colleagues from our school region attended the exhibition to view a fantastic selection of artworks from the Visual Arts students. Yr 12 Visual Arts teachers Mr. Tony Letsios and Ms Linda Adams were the teachers, who guided and mentored the students in the development of some stunning Bodies of Works that included painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and printing.

Our Principal Mr. John Kennedy officially opened the exhibition and spoke about the high standard of work, which was also evident with many favourable comments from everyone in the audience. Two of our art suppliers, S&S Creativity and ArtBasics also generously donated art materials, which presented to students that were judged on excellence in the five different media areas. Yr10 student Zane Wu should also be acknowledged in providing the music on the piano that added to the ambience for the evening.

We now hope all the hard work the students have put in with their artworks along with the art study component of the course, will hopefully come to fruition when they get their final marks for the HSC later in the year.
