What is BYOD Initiative?

BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. BYOD refers to the policy for permitting students to bring their own devices (laptops/tablets) to school, and to use those devices to access the DEC wireless network and other school resources.

Lenovo Google Chromebook

We recommend the “Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 2" be the first choice for the BYOD initiative to all students. This decision was made with careful considerations of many factors including but not limited to cost, functionality, durability and usability. We have been in touch with numerous suppliers and finalised the lowest cost and procedures to acquire our recommended BYOD - Lenovo 100e Chromebook.

Purchasing Options for the Lenovo Google Chromebook?

To simplify the buying procedure, we have partnered with Lenovo & Digitally Driven to offer the best possible price for the device. Parents/carers have the option to buy an Asus Chromebook through our negotiated pricing with Digitally Driven. Your son will be given a free school google account to use the device.

For your convenience, you can pay via our online payment system or you can also pay the school front office and receive the device when it is delivered to the school.
