  • Year 7 Camp 2014

HBHS Year 7 2014 went to camp from the 12 – 14 February 2014. From the 5:30am wake up to the 5:00pm finish the Year 7 camp was an action packed adventure to all year 7’s.

We kicked off the camp with an early wake up. We arrived, at HBHS putting our luggage into the trailer and said our goodbye’s to our weeping mum’s and grateful fathers. After, a very dull and uneventful speech it was finally time to leave… or was it? For tribe’s 1, 9 and probably a few others it took what felt like an age to finally hear the sound of the bus engine. Driving down the wet and wavy roads every bus watched a couple of movies such as Despicable Me, Dodge ball and others.

  • Year 7 - BYOD Policy Structure

Homebush Boys High School have decided this year to begin our BYOD Policy with the Year 7 group. We recommend the “Samsung Google Chromebook” be the first choice for the BYOD initiative to all students from 2014 onwards. This decision was made with careful considerations of many factors including but not limited to cost, functionality, durability and usability. We will be holding an information night for all Parents of Year 7 students in the very near future. We have been in touch with numerous suppliers and finalized the lowest cost and procedures to acquire our recommended BYOD - Samsung Google Chromebook.
