The wearing of full school uniform is compulsory for all students.  If students are not dressed in their correct uniform and do not have a note of explanation they may be sent home to get their uniform.  The school community has decided on the school uniform and its significance to the school and we expect the support of all parents.

PE UNIFORM

  • Shirt - Maroon with sky blue trim
  • Shorts - Maroon
  • Socks - White
  • Shoes - Running shoes (joggers)

 

SUMMER SCHOOL UNIFORM – Terms 1 and 4

  • Trousers - Mid grey
  • Shorts - Mid grey Drill Cloth
  • Blazer - Maroon with school emblem
  • Jacket - Maroon zip front with sky blue collar and school emblem
  • Tie
    • Junior - maroon with blue and white stripes
    • Senior - maroon
    • (Ties are optional in Terms 1 & 4)
  • Shirt - White business shirt
  • Shoes - Black leather (no joggers)
  • Cap - Plain Maroon baseball cap with school emblem

 

WINTER SCHOOL UNIFORM – Terms 2 and 3

  • Trousers - Mid grey
  • Blazer - Maroon with school emblem
  • Jacket - Maroon zip front with sky blue collar and school emblem
  • Jumper - Maroon with monogram
  • Shirt - White business shirt
  • Tie
    • Junior - maroon with blue and white stripes
    • Senior - maroon
    • (Ties are compulsory in Terms 2 and 3)
  • Shoes - Black leather (no joggers)

 

School tracksuit can be worn on Wednesdays with running shoes.  The tracksuit top may be worn daily as a part of uniform.

Please note:  Students in Years 7 – 10 are permitted to wear full PE uniform on the day they have their practical PE lesson.

 

Purchasing School Uniform

Homebush Boys High School uniform is now available at LOWES MENSWEAR, BURWOOD PLAZA.

 

NOT TO BE WORN:

  1. Jogging shoes or similar                    
  2. Polo shirts – T-shirts                           
  3. Baggy shorts – corduroy
  4. Non-school Baseball caps                
  5. Non-school Tracksuits
  6. Sports playing gear such as football jerseys are not to be worn as school uniform.

 

Suitable footwear with leather upper is necessary for all practical classes.  (Department of Education and Training Regulation) No thongs, jogging shoes or gym boots to be worn.

 

Design and Food Technology Food Manufacturing Context Area

As part of their studies of food manufacturing, students are required to participate in practical lessons once a week. To actively be part of the practical lessons it is important that students wear protective clothing and bring the appropriate equipment.

Please ensure all students doing the Food Manufacturing context area in Design and Technology bring the following:

  • White apron and beret                       
  • Black leather shoes
  • Tea towel
  • Container to take their food home
