The Bushy Boys celebrated  Multicultural Day on the 23rd August 2013 under warm but windy conditions. Setting up the displays of country flags under the arches was an interesting exercise for the boys with several countries doing their very best to break free and fly away.

Friday 13 September was a day to remember. Dicko and Sarah brought the community together for a great community event. Not only did the students, staff and parents share an outstanding barbecue courtesy of IGA, but one of our favourite sons, test cricketer, Mitchell Starc joined us to chat with the students and staff, as well he signed countless shirts, cricket bats, balls, and iPods for the adoring fans.

2UE also brought their targeted charity, the Guide Dogs along with some very cute puppies and Apprentice Power were there in force to guide our students in pathways to a trade career. One of the parents won $954 in a raffle draw just for attending.

Homebush Drum Band and Orchestra showed their talents and if you missed the day catch up by following the blog at 2UE. Just click HERE.

Thanks to all involved.
