Monday 7th November saw the beginning of a relationship between our school and Northlakes HS (NSW Central Coast). They made a whirlwind fact-finding mission to Homebush Boys in order to work towards improving the educational outcomes of their male students.

We had our year 9 students buddy up and discuss life in both Homebush Boys and Northlakes. There was a lot of common ground. There were similarities in the playground with the same kinds of groups being observed.

During the short forum, issues related to the students schooling were discussed and both schools left with some direction for the future.

In the near future, there will be a reciprocal visit for Homebush Boys going to Northlakes.
