On the evening of the 11/08/16, the team at HBHS created and ran (with huge success) what is soon to be, one of the biggest events run at the school. The purpose of this night was to rejoice fathers and sons’ connection to each other, as well as join them with the community of Homebush Boys High School. The evening ran smoothly and exceptionally well, with over 45 people in total attending, including guest speakers Tevita Ofa Amone, Gandhi Sindyan and Sheikh Wesam Charkawi. The esteemed speakers spoke on topics relevant to families and their own lives, giving inspiration to the young men and the fathers present, as well as providing them with helpful information for future references.

The event ran for approximately an hour and a half, with a jam-packed event full of different speeches and activities. At the end of this amazing evening, refreshments were available, including pizzas, chips, chocolates, falafel, and so much more! Also, gifts such as soccer balls were distributed amongst the crowd.

A big thank you to all the staff who worked on this magnificent event tirelessly, to make it run smoothly and faultlessly, as without them, none of this would’ve been possible.
